Brand It Blue Day

Longview, Texas, June 7, 2013 – On Friday, June 7, Express Employment Professionals offices from California to North Carolina to Canada came together at local food banks and pantries across North America to help fight hunger – a growing epidemic that impacts millions of people in the U.S., Canada and around the world every day.

Locally, the Longview Express office spent time working and serving at the Highway 80 Rescue Mission and was able to donate more than 250 pounds of non-perishable food through a food drive that was held leading up to a day of volunteer service.

“Brand It Blue Day allowed the entire Express family to come together to help the communities we work and live in,” Ernie Sers said. “We were able to celebrate our company’s 30th Anniversary by partnering with our clients, associates, and the Highway 80 Rescue Mission to help fight hunger.”

As Express continues on a mission to put a million people to work annually, the company will continue to volunteer and serve the community and people that support them.

“We wouldn’t be where we are today without the businesses and people who have supported us, so we’re really looking forward to giving and serving the people of Your City even more,” Sers said.

The Longview Express Employment Professionals franchise began operation in 1993 and serves the Longview and Kilgore areas with temporary help and direct hire employees in a variety of fields, including administrative, commercial, data processing, technical, sales, marketing and more.

Worldwide, Express Employment Professionals put more than 367,000 people to work in 2012 with more than 600 offices in the U.S., Canada and South Africa. Express provides expertise in evaluation hire, temporary staffing, professional search and human resources and works across a wide variety of industries.
